2023 Parliamentary Law Day

Join the Howard County and Anne Arundel County Units of the National Association of Parliamentarians, Inc.® as they host their in-person Parliamentary Law Day on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The GREAT DEBATE is an exciting new event that will test the knowledge of parliamentarians from various units as well as Members-at-Large. Witness NAP Members compete for bragging rights and the grand prize. This is an event you don't want to miss.

Guidelines for Teams:

• Members of NAP may register as a Team representing a Unit.
• Members-at-Large may register as a Team.
• Units may have more than one team.
• Team members and alternates are required to purchase a luncheon ticket in advance.
• Team Captain must complete the team form.
• Each Team is allowed a maximum of three (3) members.
• Responses will be scored by the designated panel of judges.
• Once the team provides an answer, responses are final and may not be changed.

Purchase a Digital Ad:

• Units, associations, organizations, and businesses are encouraged to purchase a digital ad.
• Ads may be purchased to support the PLD, support your unit's team, promote your business, and promote upcoming events.
• Advertisements may also be purchased in celebration of…; congratulations to…; in memory of…, etc.
• Purchasing advertisements may also increase business.
• Your support and contribution to the digital journal will ensure a continuation of service as well as provide additional monetary support for the PLD.
• Submit digital ad and payment by April 1, 2023.

Digital Ad submission requirements:

• Dimensions: Must be 10" x 7.5" (standard) or 13.33" x 7.5" (widescreen)
• Orientation: Horizontal (PowerPoint Slide)
• Acceptable File Types: PDF, JPG, PNG
• Font Size: 12 point or higher (to ensure minimum resolution of 300 dpi with screen viewing)
• Send ads via email to digitalads@howardcountyparliamentarians.org with Subject Heading: "2023 PLD Digital Ad - (Advertiser Name)"

NOTE: Minimizing ad content will provide a clearer, more visually appealing impression that can be viewed from longer distances.
